Review: Whether they playing with themselves or playing with each other as Decimal Bass, Annix and Konichi are two of the most creative minds jump up drum & bass has seen since TC came through with "Deep" over 10 years ago. Highlights include the sexy vocal sample and infectious congas of "Work It Out", the outrageously nasty hook on "England" and Konichi's complete liquid switch flicker "Those Days". No stone unturned, Annix and Konichi are at their most extensive and exciting right here. Stunning.

Review: This epic release comes just in time for jungle's optimum time of year. We're talking, of course, about midsummer raves, outdoor parties and general naughtiness in the sun and "Rise of the Soldiers" has got all that nastiness and more. Packed with vintage samples from the golden days of ragga, reggae and soundsystem culture, and perked up with fast-paced drum and bass riddims and bass heavier than Jabba the Hutt's mama, you can't afford to sleep on this. Featuring Saxxon, Bladerunner, Supreme Being and Coda to name just some, there's enough talent here to get any self-respecting VIP BBQ off to a flyer. Get a shuffle on.

Bermuda EP by Harvey Sutherland on MCDE US Cue Track
New Paradise - (6:50) 119 BPM
from $1.49
Review: Last year, Melbourne's Harvey Sutherland signaled his arrival in emphatic fashion with the acclaimed Brothers EP for Voyage Recordings - a sumptuous, soul-flecked EP of boogie-influenced deep house. Here, he continues to impress with a superb tracks for Dani Plessow's MCDE imprint. "Bermuda" is deliciously warm and summery, with jaunty boogie synths and cascading chords riding a smooth, shuffling deep house groove. "New Paradise" works the same formula hard, with dreamy, held-note chords and bubbly synthesizer melodies wrapping themselves around loose, analogue-sounding percussion and a rich bassline. If there were any doubts about his talents moving forward, this should dispel them. Clearly, Sutherland is here to stay.

O Mestre - (7:08) 60 BPM

Review: Aroop delivers the third instalment of his "Brazil Breakdown" series with three of his floor-fired reworks to date. "Brilhantina" is a percussion-heavy slice of four-to-the-floor soul with synths straight out of the Detroit playbook. "Quem Vai Querer" ups the ante with a juicy bottom end (think mid 00's Yam Who), feel-good chants and a conga roll so hypnotic you'll be shaking your hips for hours. Finally we hit "O Mestre"; rich in warm reverbed synths and coated with a pristine-polished 80s soul vocal, this will work well on both sides of the night. Honey coated warm up or an emotional finale.

Review: As Eli Escobar let's it be known in "The Formula" that he's 'got something for you' as the sweet chorale chimes. There's a subtle Osunlade vibe to this album, the American's first, and Rhodes be flaying on "Visions" as they vamp to a climax like a Bootsy Collins solo. It's all stripped back business of "NY So Hi" - get down to this! And for some quality, sustained loops check out "Thank You Les". "Up All Night" is a dubbed-out, cool-as, disco-tinged burner and there's a whole load to discover here in a debut album rich with the type of soul you can only get from the streets of the big apple.

from $1.49
Review: There's a reason that Midnight Riot's eponymous compilations frequently charge to the top of the Juno Download charts. Put simply, they never disappoint. This ninth installment sticks to the now tried-and-tested formula - house-friendly re-edits and originals from across the disco, boogie, soul and funk spectrum - but predictably hits the spot throughout. As usual, there's a bonus mix - this time put together by globe-trotting scalpel jockey Rayko - and tracks come from both label regulars ('80s Child, Ziggy Phunk, Chewy Funk) and an impressive array of new or unheralded talents. It's in the latter category that you'll find some of the most impressive fare - see Phil Jaimes deliciously Balearic "Nowhere To Hide" and Cosmocomics' kaleidoscopic synth-funk jam "Mary Jane" - though the standard remains pleasingly high throughout.

Review: Jubei writing about his true form gets everyone nervous, because if the stuff he was pushing out before wasn't raw enough, how much darker can it get? True to form, this extended EP is a gold ticket to all that's good in the world of drum and bass here in the middle of the 2010s. From start to finish those bottomless basslines roll out into huge caverns of sound, where empty space plays with constricted percussion and tight, original song writing and stunning musical ideas from like-minded producers. Jubei is killing it and if you're in his way, prepare to be converted.

I On You - (6:12) 118 BPM
from $1.49
Review: Delusions Of Grandeur have been relatively quiet on the release front this year, but they're back with a bang thanks to this latest collaborative effort from Dan Shake and Medlar. The former has gotten a name thanks to being the first non-Detroiter on Moodymann's Mahogani Music, while the latter has been pushing his disco-friendly take on house music largely via the Wolf Music imprint. They got two cuts on here, the first one being a boogie-leaning, hazy summer club jam in the form of "Walk", and the second one a jazzier affair with plenty of soulful vocals and tribal drums called "I On You". Philpot bossman Soulphiction takes care of transforming "Walk" into a pot of filter-licking madness, where the percussion is stretched and freaked out further out into the ether compared to the original. What a package!

Review: Valique's decision to shift his emphasis from funk breaks to disco edits a few years back now seems a wise one. His popular V's Edits series is now on its 17th volume, and as usual there's plenty of tried-and-tested dancefloor fodder on offer. While the EP's most outstanding track is a winding, decidedly Balearic, downtempo remix of Bryan Ferry's "Slave To Love", the rest of the EP is a funky and forthright as you'd expect. Highlights include a bouncy rework of Michael Jackson ("Heart B"), and an oh-so-smooth cut-up of Billy Paul (the sumptuous strings and eyes-closed guitar solos of "Sooner or Later"), but to be honest it's all pretty darn tasty.

Review: For all his dancefloor destroying singles and party-starting anthems, Brazilian D&B legend DJ Marky hasn't much pedigree when it comes to the album format. In fact, My Heroes is his debut solo full-length, and his first album of any sort since XRS collaboration In Rotation way back in 2004. It's perhaps unsurprising, then, that My Heroes has a celebratory feel throughout, with Marky delivering a range of melodious, soulful, carnival-friendly rollers and spiralling, anthem-like cuts (see recent single "Silly"). These are interspersed with a number of surprising diversions, including two memorable trips into soulful house territory ("Around You", the samba-flecked "Freedom"), and the synth-boogie influenced goodness of "Bella Drix".

Review: Given the sheer amount of material released by KS French's FKR label, their occasional Le Creme Edits compilations - a kind of 'greatest hits of re-edits' - are a godsend for those who haven't got the time to trawl through the imprint's vast back catalogue. There's naturally plenty of much-played fare on this second volume, with French Touch and deep house-influenced disco-house cut-ups from the likes of P Sol, Soultronic, Mastercue and KS French. In terms of highlights, look out for some typically loopy and soulful material from LTJ, a delicious electrofunk scalpel job from Jay-Ru, and a delicious chunk of pitched-down disco-funk bliss from Bab Barbie vs Evil Smarty.

Review: Making music since the early '00s, badman duo Tantrum Desire have been keeping their sounds heavy from the streets of London since UKG was topping the charts. Bringing a fresh, modern twist to vintage and old school vibes, "Diversified" is a full-length look at where they're at right now, and it's mightily impressive. From the cinematic pomp of "Diversified" and the trancey rushes in "Genesis" to the totally massive "The Shadows" featuring Matrix & Futurebound and the ridiculously addictive "I Need You Here" with Drumsound and Bassline Smith, this LP is a must bag for any hardline drum and bass aficionado.

Review: Some re-edit guys go for pop, some do disco and others opt for novelty jams. Not French funkateer DJ Vas, however, nope, no-way, not ever. He deals exclusively in quality, sumptuous disco. Here he delivers four more cuts, you know, the ones that sound like silly o'clock joy at the Paradise Garage - the loose, Fender Rhodes back beat shuffle of "Go Get The Money", the sparkly tingles of spacey funker "Double Journee", the slappy raunch-bass of "Hold On Me" and the New York in the bad old days electro-funk joint "Gigolo". The real deal.

Review: Daniel Leseman and Hans 'Junktion' Peeman first joined forces under the Fouk moniker late last year, delivering an impressive debut EP, First Things First, that skillfully combined the former's jazz-tinged rhythms with the latter's smooth deep house nous. There are plenty more reasons to be cheerful on this debut for Detroit Swindle's Heist Recordings imprint, not least the driving bass, jaunty jazz samples and warm chords of "Kill Frenzy". There's even more soul present on the loose house beats, glassy-eyed vocal samples and rich textures of "Leftys Bar", while "Ken Sent Me Release" is as woozy, wavy and dreamy as you'd expect. Soothing stuff, all told.

Review: Fresh from developing their Blacklist project, Innamind return their focus to the mother label with a collabo joint of heavyweight proportions. From the sleazy live bass lollops and dancefloor creeper sensations of "Outlaw", you know you're in for a treat. Other highlights include "Farout", where strange mid-range bass tones skip playfully around a heavily textured vocal sample, and "Drumspeak", where immense layers of percussion and rhythms are stitched with serious attention to detail. Powerful.

Review: If you're left scratching your head after reading the title of this release, nothing we say here can help you. Saxxon has become Liquid V's leading authority on jazz and all its sexy nuances. This EP has been tailored to suit those of a more soulful persuasion - and that's not to say there's nothing here for the bass heads - the level of low weightiness is off the scale. Let the jazz and the bass melt together into a perfect world of deep, funky relaxation.

Review: Over the last couple of years, Lukas Ru-Kasu has established himself as one of the re-edit scene's leading lights, with a super-smooth, filter-heavy style all of his own. Having previously released EPs on Midnight Riot, Llama Farm and DiscoDat - amongst others - the Western Australia producer arrives on Fingerman's Hot Digits label with five more tried-and-tested dancefloor delights. As usual, there's a mix of the familiar ("Give It To Ya", a tweak of Mary Jane Girls' "All Night Long") and lesser known (the delicious '80s soul flex of "Listen" and "Such a Feeling"). Best of all, though, is "Push is the Groove", a killer p-funk rework in his loopy, house-friendly style.

Review: Amsterdam's Detroit Swindle duo pair up and land back on Jimpster's Freerange imprint...and you know that means swinging, dusty house grooves for all! The title track "Figure Of Speech" is a pleasant, beautifully Detroitified house swayer featuring some heavy chord action, and "Victoria's Secret" adds a further layer of beat-swing around cheery melodies for the summer haze. Flip the disc and you got "Live At The Cosmic Carnival", a disco-fuelled house anthem and another floor-filler to fill Swindle's ever-impressive catalogue.

Review: Ah, it's finally the summer and where would we be without a DJ Koze record to accompany those long, open-air parties? The title track is a lush, string-filled affair that chugs along slowly. It's made all the more trippy by a female vocal whose narrative begins with the claim that 'everyone is experimenting with ecstasy' and who goes on to talk about lies and meditation. If that sounds too cosmic for you, then we recommend that you check out "Knee on Belly". It could be the German artist's version of '90s disco house, but realized against a gentle minimal house backdrop.

Review: Moonshine's manoeuvres in the deep continue to impress with this highly accomplished collaborative remix album. A throwback to their original Steppin' Forward album - released March 2014 - the Jamaican label have given each contributor the parts to a fellow label mate's tune and asked them to get creative. The results are as consistent and progressive as the original. Every track is a highlight but stand-out essentials include the bubblesome digidub of Bukkha's juicy switch on Tuff & Powa's "Outlaw Music", Adam Prescott's sinewy shakedown of RSD's "Know U 2" and the foamy subs and wriggling melodica on Roommate's version of Alpha Steppa's "Shinkansen".

Review: Breakerz Banquet switch the feast to a BBQ flex with a quartet of laid back summer vibes. Fresh from fronting the label launch, El Bomba takes the lead with "Party Your Ass Off". A refreshingly honest ode to smoking, drinking and fun times, it's an instant smiler. Knuckle Fingerz plays the spot-the-sample game with a whole range of well-known lyrical hooks and a Tribe Called Quest level groove. Cris Crucial plays a similar rap homage with added Dee-lite and Maars. Finally the whole team collide for the 'banger' of the bunch... Muscular drums, a clinically obese groove and party chants a-go-go, if you're not popping within 30 seconds, your volume function is faulty. Yummy.

Review: Masterworks music know how to make an entrance, and here they introduce a new series, "Bag Of Tricks", with a star-studded cast. There are ten high-end sizzlers served up from a who's who of the nu-disco scene. Highlights include the sublime slicked-out Chic-style electro-disco of Raygo ("Looks Like Love"), the shiny 80s synth-soul seducer "Too Much For Me To Take" by Dr Packer and the shoulder-padded power-stomp of 80s Child's "Bangkok Knights".

Review: The mysterious Labor of Love crew has quietly been building a reputation online for some time now, via a combination of free edit giveaways and occasional contributions to compilations from Hot Digits and Deep Sense. Here, they present their debut EP for Hotbox Boogie, a collection of tried-and-tested reworks that offer the perfect balance between house-friendly chunkiness and original disco/boogie flavours. There's much to admire throughout, from the extended saxophone breaks and rubbery disco-funk shuffle of "The Time Is Now", to the hypnotic, Italo-influenced drug-chug of "Ah Suki Suki", seemingly a rework of Fern Kinney's "Groove Me". Best of all, though, is "Sing All Night", a delay-heavy dub disco re-cut of Gaz's "Sing" that wisely emphasizes the classic drum breaks and killer bassline.

Review: Marseille's finest DJ Steef steps up to the plate for the next Foto release, supplying three hefty house tracks of varying tempo's and moods. Main jam 'Shaking' kicks off proceedings with a chopped-up break and kicking groove before a piano-laden mid-section sends the temperature rising. Next up Freeters hits heavy on the pitch-down vibe with some wonky electronics underpinned by a solid 4/4 low end. Over on the flip big bossman The Revenge hits back with a trademark stripped-out mix of Shaking which is heavy on the machine funk. Rounding things off Mojica Tribe is an altogether deeper number with smooth pads and an ethereal atmosphere.

Review: South east soundboy Damageman digs deep into the jump psyche with this muscular collection of big bass bust-ups. "This Music" comes with a really rounded smooth bassline that almost purrs in a similar way to Urban Takeover many moons ago. "What The Fuck Was That" is much more upfront and gritty, coming on strong like a Logan D or Tyke blunderbuss. Elsewhere "Tricks" combines at least four different basses to create one overwhelmingly nasty message, "3 Seconds" rasps with a cement-melting metallic bassline and wins the 'best sample' award this season while "Control" closes the show with a bubbly bass dynamic that's not dissimilar to a young Original Sin. Comparisons in this league don't come any higher.

Review: Here's something of a pleasant surprise: Studio Barnhus co-founder Kornel Kovacs turning up on Glasgow's masters of all things dancefloor-friendly, Numbers. While there's a little more of a garage swing to opener "Lighthouse" - think darting string samples, booming sub-bass and energetic deep house drums - the Swede doesn't seem to have wandered that far off-piste. So, we get some undeniably classy, jazz-flecked deep house (the rubbery and flexible "Gangsta"), a surging, saucer-eyed dose of piano revivalism ("Malon", featuring Marcus Price, and some suitably jumpy drums), and, best of all, the late '80s Paradise Garage Latin house brilliance of "Pantalon". Stellar stuff, all told.

Review: Dark and menacing is how Turno's playing it with "Judas" and to be honest, he's nailing it. Ram-packed with techy madness and hard and fast snares, this is jump up for the connoisseur. "What You Thinking" is a total turnaround in style, choosing smooth rolling bass and the heartfelt vocals of Pretty P. Come mid-set, this'll be a must-play. Two blinders.

Review: For all the success of his re-edits, original Greg Wilson compositions have been few and far between since the veteran DJ's return to action in the early 2000s. "Summer Came My Way" - designed as a vehicle for Merseyside sisters Katherine and Carmel Reynolds - is his first production of note since 2008's Yolanta Sy collaboration with Ilija Rudman. Reworked into a midtempo chunk of hazy, Balearic disco by L.A's Luxxury, it seems destined to become something of an anthem at sun-baked summer festivals. Luxxury's versions - available in radio-friendly and full-on 10 minute variants - are joined by a brilliantly deep, electronic, downtempo revision from Walter Ego that gives due prominence to Katherine Reynolds' brilliant lead vocals.

The soulful siren of the underground for ten years, there aren't many people who are better connected or more respected amongst the 'good guys' of UK, European and Brazilian drum and bass than this lady. She's a force to be reckoned with. Working with Dynamite MC, Villem, McLeod and Break on this stunner of a two-track, the beats drop hard and the bass rolls deep. But really, what did you expect? If you call yourself a drum and bass fan, pick this up as soon as your fingers stop tapping to the sample of "I Don't Need".

Review: For those interested in the creative potential of drum & bass, Hospital offshoot Med School has long been of more interest than it's festival-friendly parent label. Designed to showcase experimental, off-kilter and lesser-known D&B producers, its' consistently offered up singles and albums that bristle with great ideas. Here the label offers up a full-length from Russian producer Electrosoul System, a man who has been impressing at the margins of the D&B sound for the best part of a decade. Accessible but always unusual, Flawless impressively blends elements of liquid D&B, jungle, half-step, hip-hop and more ragged rhythms to deliver something fresh, intoxicating and hugely enjoyable.

Review: It's taken Birmingham-based duo Spectrasoul three years to make the follow-up to their promising debut album, Delay No More, but it seems to have been time well spent. The Mistress is a pleasingly varied set, rooted in their deeper, more melodious take on D&B, but blessed with a range of other influences. "Hot Head, Rock Bed", for example, sounds like vintage James Blake, while "More To Give" - featuring the soulful tones of vocalist Tamara - expertly blends half-step rhythms with luscious modern soul. They even go experimental and gnarly on the frankly quite odd "Kutchi". For all the twists and turns, they've not forgotten their roots, and The Mistress also contains a number of straight-up D&B rollers that should appease DJs and fans alike.

Review: Following impressive collaborative outings on Dirt Crew and their own Splendor & Squalor label, Brame and Hamo once again join forces, this time for Detroit Swindle's Heist Recordings. Predictably, there's genuine warmth throughout, as the duo showcases more tactile deep house compositions. Opener "Parish Rumours" sets the tone, lacing filter-clad female vocal samples and twinkling melodies over a compressed, cymbal-heavy groove. The filters once again come to the fore on the sweet, soul-sampling "Ghetto For You", while "Hotshot" delivers the kind of loose, hazy and jazz-flecked deep house jam - think hazy horns, tumbling chords, held-note strings and bluesy vocal cut-ups - that evokes images of humid days reclining on Adriatic terraces and Mediterranean cliff-tops.

Review: With Neon Disco, Italian producer Dimitri Ferrari welcomes a new name to his Sound Exhibitions label. Disco/house fusionist Dee-Licious hails from Leeds, and makes the kind of baggy, sun-kissed, groovy reworks that gleefully blend the boundaries between the humble re-edit and more ambitious original productions. The five tracks here all seemed designed to work well at summer festivals, from the breezy beats and spiralling strings of "Easy Lover" and hazy, filter-heavy pulse of "Goody Goody", to the sensual '80s soul/Jam & Lewis style goodness of "Dreams". Best of all, though, is the low-slung, stripped-back disco-funk meets-house bump of "We Beg Your Pardon".

Review: UK veteran edit master Chewy Rubs steps out of his own Chewy outlet and lands on the old-school-friendly Masterworks Music. He's in a disco mood, as per usual, and he's mashing up samples and beats like no tomorrow; we have five juicy pieces of dancefloor gold on here, the more magical moments residing in the funky and riff-driven "Makes You Blind" (Don't Stop edit)", the man's BSP dub of the string-heavy "Burning Up", and his dubbier dub of "Found Love". Party tools.

Review: Every one's favourite Deborah Harry rap gets a cosmic workshop makeover in Dr Packer's edit of Blondie's seminal "Rapture", the track that opens this sixth Surgery Edits release. Each track of this edition, as is the way with disco edits, hints to the listener where the track originally stem. And for some fun, we suggest you do some digging/guessing to find the origins of productions like "Oh What Wow", the crooning funk of "Just A Little More", and the legendary "One More Time". Light up your next party with the Best Surgery edits release yet.

The Rainbow Song by Art Of Tones on Local Talk Cue Track
The Rainbow Song (S3A Broken STL remix) - (5:42) 119 BPM
from $1.49
Review: Following a surprise outing on House of Disco, Ludovic Llorca returns to Local Talk for the first time since 2013's much played The Same Thing EP. In its' original form, The Rainbow Song is a near perfect example of Llorca's particular brand of deep house - all stretched-out chords, a bustling bassline, tough but shuffling beats, cute cowbells and bluesy vocal samples. It sounds like an underground summer anthem in waiting. There's more of a funk-flecked urgency about the excellent S3A Broken STL Remix, which introduces further vocal samples and, arguably, an even more addictive groove. Certainly, it feels a little wilder than the original, whilst retaining Llorca's unique deep house perspective.

Funk In Your Mind - (7:21) 116 BPM
from $1.49
Review: Grecian scalpel specialist DJ Leonidas keeps busy, releasing a new EP of cheerful, floor-friendly reworks every month. This month's instalment, Pool Sonics, begins with "2 Be Dancin", a shirts-off disco onslaught full of overblown strings, slammin' beats and parping horns. There's a looser, groovier feel about the slick, trumpet solo-laden disco-soul-goes-house of "Can't Lose", before he delivers a dose of camp Broadway disco in the shape of "My Eyes Of You" (yep, a cover of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"). Finally, "Funk In Your Mind" heads back towards the underground via rubbery disco-rap and some killer synths.

Review: With the summer just starting to show face, it's about time Hot Cakes' main man Deekline rolled up to deliver one of his sunniest efforts in years. Teaming up with the mighty Tippa Irie, get ready for a slice of reggae-infused jungle, perfect for some laid-back listening. Voltage and Nicky Blackmarket get their mitts on it too with their darkened remix, with breaks eking out every bit of attitude from that sunny facade. We knew there was some badness in there somewhere. Lastly, get ready for a Speed Garage remix, taking tips from the old school in a big way as the sound of UKG reigns supreme once again.

Review: A king selector and respected label director first and foremost, Critical bossman Kasra doesn't dish out sonic sermons very often. But when he does, it's always worth paying attention. Especially when Russian demon Enei is on board, too. Five tracks in total, we range from the swampy half time sludge of "Inside The Box" to the early Metalheadz ice and depth plunge breaks of "Words" via the peaktime heads down stepper "Arcana". The real highlight, though, is "Overthinking". Haunted pianos, ghostly breakbeat flickers and paranoid poetry from everyone's favourite MC, DRS, this is up there with "Count To 10". Yeah, it's that good.

Review: Veteran UK house act Crazy P (aka Danielle Moore, Jim Baron and Chris 'Toddy' Todd) are back with a defiant new long player courtesy of the Walk Dance Talk Sing label. It's been a few years since we've had a album from the group, and this 11-track-strong effort doesn't disappoint. Highlights include the sumptuous opener, the sleepy disco of "Like A Fool", the slinky and soulful synth odyssey "Echo" and the beguilingly honeyed female vocal chorus of the title track. Walk Dance Talk Sing fits the bill for this Saturday's night party or Sunday morning's chillout soundtrack.

Sitting somewhere between breaks and electro, these tracks are guaranteed to get any party on its way, especially if it involves university dormitories or student unions! Our tops picks have to be Phibes' "Needles" for thos soulful vocal samples, "Rockin' Cold" by Rollomatik and Cockney Nutjob's "Firepower" for the undeniable comic effect of that sample...you'll know what we mean!

Review: Fresh from dropping fine EPs on Heist and Splendor & Squalor, regular collaborators Brame and Hamo join forces for their second outing on Dirt Crew. Opener "Lamaj" is little less than sublime, with twinkling piano and string samples riding a loose, lolloping, jazz-flecked deep house groove. Andy Hart's straighter, chunkier remix is good, too, though it lacks a little of the original's yearning blissfulness. Elsewhere, the duo doffs a cap to boogie and funk on the sumptuous summer house jam "Four Lights", before closing proceedings with the rolling grooves and fireside Rhodes chords of the bizarrely titled "Garlic Fist Pump".

Review: The latest Halogenix release offers further evidence of Laurence Reading's growth as a solo producer away from the Ivy Lab trio, and lands him a debut on Metalheadz. Arriving with a full colour sleeve, the All Blue EP opens with a breezy relaxed roller of a title track that's further enhanced by the hushed vocal delivery of veteran singer Cleveland Watkiss. "Beyond The Bounds" is quite soulful too, though the bassline feels a lot more muscular whilst B-side opener "Shank" finds Halogenix veering off into a techier sound. Final track "Shores" brings a vocal element back into play, and it's a seductive one that will hook you right in.

Review: Having previously impressed with a trio of fine EPs and a similarly well-regarded album on Hyperdub some years back, Walton makes the move to Pinch's Tectonic imprint. He kicks things off with the grizzled, post-dubstep sparseness of "Wrench", all thunderous riddims, spooky electronics and spaced-out hits. There's an almost broken beat feel about the mangled grooves, pulsating sub and twittering melodies of "Flute Riddim", while the title track sees him go deep into heavyweight bass territory via drawn-out electronic textures, ragga vocal samples and bouncing beats. He closes proceedings with "L.E.A.N", a deeper, more ghostly trip full of crystalline electronics and spaced-out, half-step beats.
