Review: In all due respects, if you need background deets on Brockie and Ed Solo you need to go back to school. If you don't, then you know what level of trouble we're dealing with here as the two hugely influential titans of the genre revisit their Undiluted vaults for an incendiary collection of high grade bruisers dating back to the turn of the century. Still hitting with the same spiked out futurism as they did almost 20 years ago, tracks like the distorted riff blunderbuss "Cheltenham Bass" the slappier, break-riddled "Mind Overload" and the star-gazing riff of "Dutty" still pack major punches to this day. Not ones to just look back, they've also commissioned a load of on-point remixes from some of the sharpest acts in contemporary jump-up: Turno, Serum, Annix, T>I... Need we go on? The story continues.

Review: Welcome to "Rollers Club" where it's happy hour all day and night long. Bou will be your consummate host, and he's rolling deep in decorated company. For the sublime game of contrasts that is the opening tune NAMF helps him balance warm jazzy chords with wriggling grunty jump riff with insane and truly unique effect. Elsewhere fellow gutter-bass showman Telekom joins the party for some grizzly, brain rattling bass on "Violet", Bou goes solo for the brilliantly twitchy, sharp-shooting switch up "Poison" and the man like T>I strolls in casually late for the last, and indeed gulliest track. No antidote required.

Review: Send for the hazmats! Papa Gee's Hazardous Musik flies into town on the version express with a series of rudeboy rubdowns. It's a one-way-ticket scenario from the off as Choppah juices up the skank machine on his take on Jayline and Gee's "Dancehall Ram" and Serum finally unleashes one of his longest-awaited dubs in the form of his groaning take on D Livin's 92 proto jungle classic. Deeper into the EP we ride to find a heavier, jumpier take on K-Jah & Vytol's "We Love Hip-Hop" from Inna Culture AND the 2016 version of D Livin's seminal shakedown. Dangerous materials!

Review: Influential and prolific, Dave Lee has been one of house music's major proponents of soulful, disco-tinged, vocal tracks. Without question, he was instrumental in its development. Produced With Love is only the second ever Joey Negro album to be released and the first for more than 20 years. It proves that dance music with character still exists and rather than rely on sampling older records, the overwhelming majority of music is newly recorded. Rest assured that there's quite the supporting cast here, on the vocal front: the late great Diane Charlemagne on "Overnight Sensation", Canadian songstress and frequent Nick Holder collaborator Sacha Williamson on "I Recognize" and the legendary Linda Clifford on "Won't Let Go". Fellow London disco dons Horsemeat Disco collaborate on "Dancing Into The Stars" too. The second half of the collection focuses on Lee's impeccable remixes and yes: there is a version of "Must Be The Music" and a track by the inimitable Peven Everett entitled "Love Is Thicker Than Water" alongside several other gems.

Review: These are the breaks! Super-longstanding D&B bastion Drum&BassArena unleash their first EP in over 10 years with a special dedication to the driving drum fusion that's powered all our favourite jungle jams: The breakbeat. It's an all-star cast too... Bladerunner does his thing with a classic subby wobble and skippy breaks, Shimon gets his bouncy skank on with Darrison on "Believe It" while June Miller, James Marvel & MC Mota flip the breaks into a steppier, more fractured dancehall/jungle/madness switch up on "Don Dada". Those in need of a hardcore injection of rave purity should seek and support John B's ruthless "ENERGY" and A.M.C & Turno's glacier-blasting tech-jump melter "Ice Cold". Dedication's what you need.

Review: Just as you thought it was safe to walk the streets, Konichi & Decimal Bass crash land into your grimy little universe once again... And nothing is safe. Their largest body of work since last year's album Forever, expect nothing less than six tracks of riot material; "The Dog Knows" is a barking mosh of a jam with electrified bass and a cracking sample, "Invasion" (with Vacuum) is so tightly sprung it should come with a health warning while "Cold Killer" sees them tagging up with mandem du jour Turno for an iced out shred flex. Elsewhere "Get It" wins gold in the 'weirdest bassline of the EP' award, "If I Told You I'd Have To Kill You" buzzes and snaps with a hornets nest bassline while "Maintain" kicks down your house with a roughhouse late 90s style bassline. K9 thumbs up.

Review: Last spotted on Maji's Sweet Tooth screaming prophecies loud and clear, the unstoppable Nu Elementz returns with more concrete body-slammers. "Operation" blasts with such a venomous hook it could remove your spleen so quickly you won't even notice. Looking for a bassline that purrs rather than screeches? Look no further than the danger-humming "Trainwreck". Looking for a reason to invite the queen to tea? Stick on "Royalty" and watch her throw her crown (and of course shoes) out of the window. Finally we have "Curious". A strange stepper with a wormlike rusty bassline that creaks and groans on every chop-slapping snare, if this doesn't have you questioning mankind's existence you are officially soulless. Good luck with that mate.

Review: They might be averaging 2.5 releases per year but man are Blackley's Cre8 killing it. Every single release has been rammer-jammer with talent, ideas, fusions and energy. The "We Cre8" series epitomises this spirit and attitude the best as we're bombarded with heaviness from the off... "Medusa" teases with a starlit arpeggio on the intro before snapping your neck with a waspy bass drop, "War Mongers" is a much fuzzier, no-nonsense skin-scorcher, "Touch Of Generations" fires more lasers than an unruly robot while Jaxx provides balance with the springier funk of "Leaf Of Life". Rounding off with stern spacious bass tones of "Hemp Seed" and the timeless roller "Showdown", this is the best "We Cre8" edition yet.

Review: Still firing off their gunfingers at rapid rates, Serum & Voltage lock horns once again with more brutal funkers. "Cobra" writhes and squeezes more like a boa than biter, such is its XXXXXL charm. "Sumting Special" gets busy on some supreme drum breaks for a workout that wouldn't have gone amiss on Full Cycle around 2002 while "Cyber Funkin" adds a little more disco swing to the fray. Award for the biggest bully bassline on the EP goes to "Mutation". Play it too loudly and you will actually mutated. Incredibly good... But then what did you expect two roller kings?

Review: Home is where the heat is: G13 rally up troops old and new for a straight up sesh of UK heaviness. Co-boss Rowney takes the lead with the savage "Still On It", setting the scene for the new breed to smash down. Bou, Leaf & Dutta go all jazzy and harmonic on "Waterfall", Niterider gets all low-swung and switchy with "Fire Emoji", Jammin brings the mystic pressure with "Marijuana", Salvage gets classic with the cymbal-crashing, bass-mashing grunter "Don't Stop" while newblood Tringy finishes on the spooked-out wobbler "Poltergeist". Stinking.

Review: Half the fun of each new Ibiza season is the accompanying DJ mix albums that ensue. Here it's the turn of Z Records' legend, Joey Negro, who compiles and selects Z Records Presents Ibiza 2017. With Joey Negro you know you will always get an expert blend of house and disco, new and old. Here we see exclusives rub shoulders with first time digital virgins. Highlights include Dr Packer's thumping edit of "Change Position (88)" by Brooklyn Express, the hazy bass twangs of "Phantom" by A Band Called Flash and the warm electro of "It's More Fun To Compute" by Negro himself.

Review: It's been a year since he last took us on a Hi Res romp but Bladerunner is back on his own label and kicking major jacksy as usual. Four tracks full and not a dry eye in sight, each cut really brings out the Dread alumni's chainsaw bass abilities. "Technological" buzzes with a vicious electrical aesthetic to the bass, "Rolling Fire" is a roaring rip in the space time continuum with classical and future sounds both fusing at 100000mph, "Don't Stop" is nothing short of a jugular slicer while "Wild West" takes us back to the rooting tooting old school with a loose drum swag and much more sinister shadowy bass texture. Full res, high res, Bladerunner for prez.

Review: Whether he's slapping us around with Savage Society, poking our frontal cortexes on Never Say Die or getting jiggy in the jungle on the likes of Dub Damage, Aweminus is one of the few US artists who can flex this well around both 140/170 tempos. In the past he's proved his 360 skillishness on Calypso, Clawhammer, now he's doing it on Dub Damage. Highlights include the raw sheet metal bassline grit of ED-209 homage "Damned", the waspy lip-curling tubular bass on "Another One" and the infectious step-funk of "The Wabbit Hole". Highly wecommended.

It might feel like you've been surrounded by ghosts of rollers past, you might feel like you've been hypnotised by the sinister gods of jungle but it's only the Utrah brothers and they've packing some of their best work so far... Both "Riddims" and "LowDefign" are up there with Serum and Benny L on that pranged out new groan flex, "Pathogen" is more directly trippy and sinister with its molten bassline and punchy cymbal-slapping drums while "Far" sets fire to your house and stands on the street mooning at you when you run out for safety. Ultrah sound.

Review: It's 2017 and you can finally have your cake and eat it. It's all down to Jungle Cakes head chefs Deekline and Ed Solo who have been working hard in the bass kitchen since the foundation days. Here we find them in five Michelin star mode as they serve up a banquet of creations both from their own and their peers' menus. Highlights across this incredible D&B banquet abound from the moment Craze and Infiltrata's (aka 12th Planet) classic "Things Just Ain't The Same 4 Gangstas" opens the collection and Firefox's (aka Roni Size) seminal "Keep It Raw" headbutts us a few tracks later. Elsewhere the Jungle Cakes dons treat us to skanked-out banger after skanked-out banger; Spyda's iconic vocals and the hornets nest b-line on "Soundsystem Entertainer", Tippa's harmonic heaven on "Pass Me The Dubplate" and one of the nastiest remixes Deekline's notorious "Don't Smoke" has ever experienced. Loaded with an array of cool FX and two continuous mixes, this is a true jungle feast. What a time to be alive.

Review: Subway Soundz have get busy on the recruitment flex with five certified bangers from a whole cast of badmen. Higher Stakes bosser Pacso links up with Term for the grizzly opening salvo before Ego Trippin throw a few extra notes into the already infectious bassline riff on the Methodical "Barely Breathing". Elsewhere Coda tans our hides with a high harmonic Clipz-style bassline Certified & Silent Storm dust off the divas while Masker provides the final knock out with the super-bounce roller "Dirty Business". Time to get mucky.

Review: Sun's out, lenger's out - Young Guns slap down the second part of the "Ikon:Ik" series a tribute release for the late greaat Joe Ikon and it's every bit as ruthless, uncompromised and all-encompassing as the launch release two weeks ago. Ranging from the clipped and sinewy laser bass riff stabs of "Listen" to the more subverted biggie-bass grumblings of "Wake Up Fucked Up" by way of the sprightly skank and toxic slurry bass of "Twist", it's another scorching Ikon beacon for all drum & bass radars.

Review: Dusky has certainly made the most of running the 17 Steps label. Astonishingly, this is the duo's 16th release on the imprint since it launched back in 2014. As usual, there's plenty to admire across the four-track EP, starting with the poignant chord progressions, rubbery synth-bass, "Show Me Love" organ stabs and trippy late night atmospherics of "Cold Heart". Their penchant for hustling low-end and grandiose synthesizer flourishes is explored further on "Psychic Life Coach", while the superb "Bowed" sees them doffing a cap to both John Carpenter and Patrick Cowley. For those seeking fluttering riffs, heavy analogue bass and breezy, summery vibes, closer "Balfour Betty" should be essential listening.

Review: If you know T>I's productions then you won't need to read this, you'll already be on them. The man has saint-like status among the very top best roller and riff selectors such as Andy C and Serum. It's because of tracks like these. Each cut hits hard, rattles with funk and is clearly made for the mix. Both "Permanent Marker" and "Absence" really fix our focus on his deeper rolling side, "Don't Stop" switches up a well known break with an understated groaning bass whip, "Rolling With The Nines" takes us on mystical trip, Thresh Hold is freaky creeper with ghostly pianos and strange otherworldly basses while "Move On" closes on a superbly restrained soul stepper that opens out into some beautiful synth strokes midway. This couldn't be more on-point if T>I opened up a knife sharpening franchise.

Review: The Force ain't mucking about this year. Having slapped us silly on both Heist's Calypso and his longest standing supporters Ruffneck Ting, he now makes his debut on Serial Killaz self-stamped label. As always with Serial Killaz, there's no room for fillers or weak joints so The Force goes in balls deep with four distinct strains; "Pussy Sound" is the deeper roller of the set, "Serious Sound" buzzes with high end rasping bass sound that fluctuates tangibly and jazzy housey chords play havoc on the breakdown while "Your Love" takes a soaring soul vocal and intoxicates it with a treacle thick reese bass to breath-taking effect. Hats go off the most, though, for "Hipster". The sheer rudeness and out-there feels of the tripped-out reverse organ bass. Ridiculous. Drop it and watch your floor go bananas.

Review: Following on from their successful hook up with 2020 Vision, nu-disco heroes Crazy P have now joined forces with the Classic label (how has this not happened before?!) and here we get the "Truelight EP". Spacey retro soul balladry gives way to filthy cosmic funk on "One True Light" and "In My Hands" is nasty Padlock EP-style disco of the highest order. Hot Toddy (aka Chris Todd of Crazy P) remixes the latter into hypnotic acid and band co-founder Ron Basejam turns the former into chugging, sun-warped Balearic boogie.

Review: It's what we've always waited for... A second album from the brothers Gresham. Spotless artists in their own rights, the Voltron soul hurricane that occurs when they combine is a whole new level. From the sweeping string-soaked dreams of opener "Somewhere Between The Light" through to the last lilting piano strokes of "Our Nights", it's a non-stop sunset peppered with peaks and troughs from gully ("Strut" with fellow Gresham bro Other Echoes) to cosmic disco liquid ("Dreamweaver") and all beautiful shades in between. These men can do no wrong.

Gentle Place - (6:16) 124 BPM

Review: If you've been to a festival this summer, it's likely that you will have heard "Surrender", the first collaboration between Running Back man Gerd Janson and Black Jukebox curator Shan. A pleasing slab of feel-good disco-house with added carnival percussion, the track's appeal likes as much in the duo's ability to place life-affirming peaks (built around colossal disco samples) in all the right places as the rock solid nature of the production. Basically, it sounds like an anthem and is fast turning into one. There's a similarly old school feel to "Gentle Place", too. The track's analogue bassline and layered, carnival house style percussion is brilliantly off-set by the kind of swirling Balearic chords and eyes-closed vocal samples so familiar from Janson's Talamanca System work with Phillip Lauer and Mark Barrott.

Review: Busy in the kitchen, smashing up the studio; the masterful hand of Steve Kielty is slapping at an unavoidable level this year. His second official solo album (third if you count last year's limited Unreleased Album) follows his latest Script-collaborated SCAR wounders with more futuristic, unforgiving atmospheres; the spasmodic cymbal scrapes of "You Got Nothing", the rushy soul of "I Found You", the pitched drum insanity of "When I Hear Noises" and the jittering sci-fi funk of "Firefly" are just the tip of this bountiful 13 course meal. Peas and love.

Review: Having let off some serious stinkers on Hybrid's Audio Addict earlier this year Agro returns to his own imprint with five more blunt-nosed scudders. Once again, it's an understated affair which hits best with its low-swung technique - more rolling than jumpy, more grumbling that shouty, it's the type of tunes you'd expect to hear Randall play at 3am. Highlights come in the form of every track but don't sleep on the elastic bass stretches and sultry vocal on "All The Time" (with Raz), the ludicrously flabby bass on the brilliantly titled "Big Food Mover" and the epic, not to mention sandpapery, collabo between Aggers, Greezey and Kumarachi "AZR". Score settled.

Review: Given his history in the disco re-edit scene, it's perhaps unsurprising that Michael Fichman's first EP for Soul Clap contains a couple of bona fide mirrorball treats. Chief amongst these is "Get it On (Bosq Remix)", a brilliant chunk of revivalist vocal disco full of authentic instrumentation, including Nile Rodgers style guitars, a fine walking bassline and on-point percussion. DJ Bruce provides two killer, gospel inspired revisions of the track, too: the pared-back, pianos-and-bongos vibe of the "Feeling Mix" and the stretched-put, organ heavy gospel disco roller that is the standout "On & On Mix". Fittingly, both make much of Amy Douglas's inspired vocal. Elsewhere, "Side of Life" is a preacher-sporting chunk of sunshine disco and "The Changer" joins the dots between chugging dub disco and throbbing Italo-disco.

Review: Now THIS is the way you soundtrack summer... Bcee's rallied up troops old and new for 16 exclusives (and 11 label classics) on this accomplished catch-all document that represents what his label is all about. The end result is beautiful collection that ranges from the most starlit groove crusade (GLXY's "Antwerp", Spectrasoul's jazz-speckled twist on LSB's "Rolling Sideways", Need For Mirror's dusky finger clicker "Marina Blue") to slightly heavier soul-shakers (The Invaderz heads-down freak-out "Do Devine", Lenzman's killer take on "The Hurting" and Muffler's soaring, scorching "Dark Flower") Spearhead are spoiling us right about now.

Review: Middlesbrough murk maestro L3mmy Dubz continues his rich vein of wonky form on Reload with this full-strength five tracker. Tripped out funk comes in generous helpings on the likes of "Jupiter" and "Heat Ray" where the strange glitches and off-beat fills create momentum. Sheer sci-fi drama is conjured on the paranoid arpeggiated "Killer Bite" and soaring heat-seeker "Empire" while the riff on "Attention" buzzes and rattles with unforgettable high end friction. Powerful sounds from a fast-rising future star.

Review: Train wrecking, hard bopping, barely breathing riff wizards Ego Trippin continue their rolling onslaught with four more addictive hook-works. "Drum Beatz" rattles and shakes some classic samples in a brand new way, "Lost Your Mind" brings back memories of Bingo circa 2004 while "Change The Beat" is a lolloping weird-out that groans so rudely it could make T>I blush. Fancy a VIP chaser? Take a glug of the subtly refreshed "Tracker". Trippin on sunshine..

Review: For his second outing on Dirt Crew, Roar Groove boss The Revenge is in full-on peak-time mode. There's no hypnotic slow house chuggers or mid-tempo loop bumpers, just a quartet of tried-and-tested slammers. The veteran Scottish producer gets straight down to it with the loopy disco-house celebration of "Every Night", where judicious chops are used to incite a rapturous response on dancefloors, before cooling things down a little via the retro-futurist, late '90s New York house bump of "Grit". "Never Learn" is a percussive and stripped back outing that pits vintage, Tenaglia style drums and bass against wonky, alien electronics, while "Krokodile" sounds like a Chicago jack-track after a round of shooters with the Emperor Machine.

Review: VIP klaxon! Walking Dead revisit the vault and update with fresh version power. First up is a critical damager from Walking Dead's parent label Escalated Sounds. We don't need to tell you how brutal this was throughout the first half of 2016 - now it's back with a modified hook and added hype for the VIP. Simskai's laser bass gangbanger "Game Over", meanwhile, flexes its VIP muscles on the fills with additional twists on the bass hook and full focus on the spine-hunching reverse strings. VIP - very important party-hurters.

Review: Ding ding, round two. S.P.Y gets into his stride as the second instalment of his "Alone In The Dark" series hits hard with five more sterling sounds. "Termination" is every bit the hurter you want it to be with its shattering snare shot and waspy alien bass and "Shadow Play" follows closely behind on the ice front with its chilling pads and sudden junglised drum shatters. "Get Up" follows with big sweeping radar basses buzzing under a soaring vocal and subtle heritage atmospheres and "Coldwave" is just a brutal slap into the 23rd century. Ever the switch flipper, S.P.Y ends on a curveball. This time the Vangelis-goes-neuro drama of "Mind Over Matter" with on-point barsmith Inja. You'll never rave alone.

Review: After an extended hiatus, Detroit Swindle returns to action for the first time since the autumn of 2016. Predictably, they're in fine form throughout. We're particularly enjoying title track "Can't Hold It", a bumping and energy-packed deep house cut smothered in swinging drum fills and what sound like jazz-funk instrumental samples. The warm, summery action continues on "Just Not Norma", a superior chunk of life-affirming disco-house deepness whose beats are pleasingly jazzy and dexterous. Arguably best of all, though, is the more heavily electronic "Tamarindus Hollandicus", where new age melodies and fizzing electronics weave in and out of a restless synth bassline and Italo-disco style percussion. Willie Burns' remix, a fusion of scattergun-techno attitude, proto house drum delays and swirling synths, is also superb.

Review: This EP marks a welcome return to Heist Recordings from Fouk, the deep house collaboration between Daniel Leseman and Hans Peeman. There's naturally much to admire throughout, from the rubbery disco bass, hustling house beats and intergalactic synths of opener "F3000", to the pleasingly loose beats, clattering percussion hits and hard-worn disco-funk grooves of "See You on the Other Side", via the warm and toasty boogie/house fusion of "With Lazers". Improvisation-loving combo Mount Liberation Unlimited steals the show with a loose, languid and deliciously deep interpretation of "See You on the Other Side" that seamlessly fuses the best of both their and Fouk's respective production styles.

Review: Question: When will Tyke stand for prime minister and how can we vote for him? We'd all be in a lot safer hands if this graf artist-turned-Playaz premiership player ruled the UK. Anyone who can make sounds so grotty, weird and head-bending like the swampy bass gurgles on "They Must Come" and the 1.21 gigawatt electric riff on "Cosmos" has exorcised enough demons to be a level-headed, thoughtful person, right? And who needs Trident when you've got hole-tearing slappers like "Galvanised" or the sense-blurring turbo-thruster "Planet Merk"? Answer: no one.

Review: Young Worthing warrior Mentah continues to go loco in the Sub-Liminal kitchen cooking up no less than five fiery courses. Five! Each dish is a feast in itself, loaded with gruff groaning basslines, swinging drums and precision dug samples. Those with a penchant for gluten will fatten up nicely on the moaning bass tones of tracks such as "Can't Fool I" and "The Rules", those looking for a little citrus zest will be all over the electrical buzzy tones and block snare bumps of "Clear" while those who go straight for dessert should lap up the sweet treacle bass of "If You Need A Name". More? Look no further than the EP title track "Orders To Move". Grills set to murderation, this is cooked to perfection.

Review: Cabin Fever alumni and longstanding vocal legend Regina builds up to her debut solo album later this year with two crucial, hard-nosed collaborations with two of the most respected men in underground drum & bass. "Killa" sees her hooking up with T>I for a fuzzy rolling vibe that's slung so low the bassline scuffs its knuckles in the gutter. "Secrets" sees her teaming up with PA on a techy workout that sits somewhere between Enei and Teebee. Comparisons don't get much better in this field. Bring on the album.

Review: "Jungle Jungle"; so good he named it twice, right? You all know the drill now: It's lord Bladerunner, it's The Prototypes' unstoppable Get Hype imprint, it's a pristine roller that glides into the mix serenely, building subtly into a breath-taking synth-vocal drop that's emotional enough to turn your dancefloor (and the neighbourhood in a 50 mile radius) into one en-mass goosebump. Classic tucker from the consistently on-point Bladerunner and a sweet little curveball from Get Hype. There are no losers here.

Review: Snake killing: a highly dangerous occupation practiced only by the likes of Chuck Norris, Bear Grylls, Andre The Giant (ask your dad) and stone cold vibe-firing junglists like DJ Limited... A man who's not missed a trick lately. Following releases on Serial Killaz and Biological Beats he returns to Heist's Co-Lab with a six-pack that contains some of his best tracks to date... "Kill The Snake", an absolute blinder of a riff track that mixes with everything and sticks in your head like pure gorilla glue. Other crucial cuts include the flabby wobbles of "Famous On Earth", the stripped back theatrics of, switches and guitar glitches of "Right On Time" and the classic off-beat shake down of "The Purpose". Tl,dr: Absolute murderation (of snakes and soundboys)

Review: With Daniel leseman and Hans Peeman riding high on the success of their recent With Lasers EP on Heist, Razor 'N' Tape has decided to deliver a digital version of lasr year's previously vinyl-only Whiskey Ginger EP. There's much to admire throughout, from the classic disco walking bass, lolloping drums and swish, boogie style synth flourishes of "Whiskey Ginger", to the delightfully fuzzy, P-funk flavoured synth jam, "New Canvas". Elsewhere, "Camille 2000" is an exquisite trip into deep house/boogie fusion, while "Aldo Raine" is as warm, dusty and dancefloor friendly as any organic deep house cut you'll hear this year.

Review: NWS Digital have pulled out all the stops on their twelfth release. They bring you the one and only Origin and his brilliant Border Control EP and according to the label it's getting 'battered up and down the country' by some of the biggest names in the scene. Starting off with the very DJ Krust sounding minimal stepper "45 Dub" and the fierce title track: a straight ahead tech-stepper reminiscent of classic Virus Recordings. "The Void" continues in the same fashion with this breakneck sci-fi roller while "Two Dimension's" hammers the message home in fine UK street sound fashion: razor sharp sub bass on this one.

Review: Rebolledo's brilliant 2016 album Mondo Alterado gets the remix treatment, with an impressive selection of production talents taking it in turns to tweak the Mexican's work. There's much to admire throughout, with highlights including a thrusting, low-slung and trippy revision by Maceo Plex, a deliciously woozy and loved-up interpretation from Superpitcher (think Balearic-meets-post-punk-meets-Teutonic tech-house), a thrillingly percussive take on "Pow Wow Wow" by occasional Optimo Music sorts The Fantastic Twins, and a pair of next-level rubs from Mike Simonetti, whose acid-flecked "Discotico Simonettico En Panico" version could well be the best of the bunch. Throw in a smattering of typically heavy and eccentric Rebolledo originals, and you have an essential, floor-friendly selection.
