Review: UK producer Activa is one of the UK's leading exports on the worldwide scene, playlisted on a weekly basis by everyone from Armin to Paul Van Dyk and now a driving force behind the Discover group of labels. On the cusp of the greatness and deserved recognition which John O'Callaghan has achieved from this launch pad, 'Heads Down' is prime example as to why. Ballsy uplifting trance which is found in abundance on his 'To The Point' album, it's fired up with acid lines, rocking basslines and the sharpest of beats. Review: We are big fans of the all the RecoverWorld labels and even more so of the Discover 'Trance Pioneers' compilation series, and following on from Thomas Datt and Greg Downey is one of the most important producers in UK trance Activa.
