Review:
Techno producer Walter, who is best known for the Stigmata series with Chris Liebing, gets together with Al Faris for four hypnotic tracks. "Suffering Beijing" is based on metallic beats and builds over close to 10 minutes to a ghostly chord-led climax. "Black Wind" is also a longer track, but features stripped back beats, vocal snippets and a jarring siren riff, an approach that is also audible on "Trafficking In Human Beings". However, it's the title track that impresses most: based on heavy tribal beats and a dank bassline, the Photek-like samurai sword percussive licks ensures it has the edge in more ways than one.
