Alex Costa twists and turns new shapes from the tool house formula on Looking for Time. Instead of just trotting out dense tribal drums, "That's Right" features a rolling groove as its centrepiece, which Costa augments with insistent vocal samples and building old school house chords. "Look For Time" is more upfront as stomping beats and whooshes of white noise provide the basis for a spaced out vocal that intones the bizarre claim that the singer is 'looking what time to fix'. "Be On" also contains vocals, but in this instance it is merely a snippet intoning the track title. The real action is on the live, choppy drums that lend the arrangement a raw feeling.
