Review:
Highly acclaimed by the heads and criminally underrated by the masses, Amit makes a bold statement of intent with the follow up to Never Ending (his '06 album) on Klute's Commerical Suicide imprint. Fusing a multitude of musical influences, this cinematic panorama of one of D&B's more interesting characters seamlessly blends genres and styles with vocal samples, poetry, interludes and textured atmospherics. From the opening "Lullaby" through the tough, gritty "Pripryat", the politically charged "Doomed Youth" and "Social Dilemma", the pumping techno-infused "Bloxit", the haunting melancholy of "My Own Way Home" and beyond, the tracks are layered, multifarious and deeply intriguing. Get to know.

Review:
AMIT has never been a producer who rides with the tides. As one of the artists at the forefront of the half-step and minimal drum & bass scenes, his sets have become an urban legend, somewhere between old-style rave mentality and full-on hypnosis. "Acid Trip" is a techy exploration into the greater depths of electronic music, and being on pioneering dubstep label Tempa, he can afford to get a bit experimental. Fearless and bold, the title track holds tight as it plummets further and further into the abyss. On the flip, "Don't Forget Your Roots" hosts eerie Dia de Muertos organs playing out a reggae rhythm until a haunted, deconstructed dub bursts into the lower end. Spooky, almost comical sounds from a deadly serious producer. A lighter side to AMIT or are we being too aloof? We'll let you decide.

Review:
We last saw Amit in 2011 with his critically acclaimed 9 Times LP on Commercial Suicide, which brought together a unique blend of sounds and concepts and united them into one. Here he returns, this time on D Bridge's Exit Records, with a four-track EP which is equally stunning. "You Look Better Dead (featuring Rani)" is a melancholic piece with booming bass, rattling breaks and mournful lyrics. "Manic Minor" switches things up with frenetic SFX bleeping in the background, booming subs and barely there percussion. "Stay With Me" is all about the instrumental swells and "Kritical" gets dark and menacing as the EP draws to a close.

Review:
Now this is a very interesting release... Metalheadz have unleashed this with a statement that raises an eyebrow at the dubstep-loving D&B cognoscenti and a reminder that Amit has been bashing out half tempo D&B for nigh-on a decade now. These two dubby joints prove his skills in the area, and tick completely different boxes in the process. "Killer Driller" punches with a gritty, tonked up Massive Attack / Tricky style skank and vocals spat by the very Devil himself while "Color Blind" is a much more melancholic love affair with traditional dub. A noteworthy move by D&B dons Metalheadz, and a killer message (literally).

Review:
British D&B producer Amit does it by halves on this latest full-length long player. With a huge fondness for half-step D&B beats, Amit keeps things intense, moody and grimey throughout this album, with beautiful chiming atmospherics working well with the resolutely non jump-up beats on tunes like "Immortal" or "Live In India". An album that succeeds in creating its own unique mood and feel, "Never Ending" is a fascinating step away from the D&B mainstream.
