Review: Benny Page turns up on Dutch label Subway with two incendiary cuts. "Original Killa" finally sees the release fans have been craving, a long lost classic hammered by Youngsta and N Type back in the day. It still stands up now, dripping with low end menace and dubby atmospherics! Accompanying track "Take You Back" features a pitched down vocal line intoning "I'll take you back to the deep dark jungle", which holds its line as smacking drum hits and arppegiated rave synths tumble on top. Tip!

Review: Our favourite Digital Soundboy takes a step over to High Culture for another of his rambunctious dubstep offerings. It's a far cry from his "Turn Down The Lights" D&B hey day, as crashing drums and growling mid-range kick in with full force in "Tempo", with an ominous undertone present throughout. Accompanying this is "Taking Over" which builds from a gentle, ticking intro with anguished wails, dropping into the main tune with a rave vocal and developing into a Prodigy influenced dubstep number. Expect to hear this in a club near you!

Review: A collective formed from latter day Digital Soundboy Benny Page, Dope Ammo and Resinate, Goldstarr bring the ruckus with this release, plus bonus track "Funkadelic" for added fun. "Crazy" pairs a winding b-line with catchy cooing vocal, "Valley Of The Shadows" esque hollow echoing sound and firm, punchy drums. "Come Out To Play" urges us to do just that with souped up bassline, high octane energy and pounding Pendulum style drums setting the pace for the duration. Bonus card "Funkadelic" adds a sultry sexiness to the proceedings and rounds things off in style.

Review: Benny Page and Zero G have been churning out some sterling work on High Culture recently, and this EP, featuring Tenor Fly, could be their best collaboration to date. Easily one of the most distinctive, inimitable MCs to ever hold a mic, Tenor's rapid tongue works wonder over Benny and Zero's rave-tinged slice of grime. Peak time heads down rolls at play, you can file this under savage. Zero G goes solo for the remainder of the package; "Murda In The Dancehall" is tonked up electro dancehall while "What Must I Do" takes a slippery segue into the whirling retro futurisms of nu-jungle. Hefty gear, may their sterling work continue.

Review: Two rambunctious, post-jungle remixes here which deserve a shout out from the likes of Blade Runner and Dope Ammo & Resinate. First up the former goes in on Goldstar (aka Benny Page)'s cut "Crazy", adding a '96 style intro to it; then as the tune drops it's all old skool bass groans and thunderous sub bass lurches, with fast, rattling breaks adding pace above. Accompanying this of course, is the Dope Ammo & Resinate re-lick of "Effective Styles", which is all fidgety drum rolls and gratuitous jump up mayhem.

Review: Jungle revivalist outfit the Serial Killaz join forces with old Digital Soundboy specialist Benny Page for "Walk & Skank", which then gets a remix from Northern Lights. First up, it's the Northern Lights remix of the aforementioned "Walk & Skank" - a thumping piece of tomfoolery with smacking drums, booming bass and the original jungle vibe still shining through. Watch for the old skool rave switch! Then Serial Killaz remix reggae-drenched "Crying Out" into a modern day jungle classic.
