Review: One of the key components in the "drumstep" revolution that's sweeping the airwaves between D&B and dubstep at the moment, Kenny Ken's son Crissy Criss goes in on the Bill Posters' original "Hold On" with all the reckless abandon the 1Xtra DJ regularly displays in his expansive, pedal-to-the-metal mixes. Cavorting breaks are coupled with rave-addled synth chords and whinnying vocals here; not so much falling into the drop as storming into it, with a frenzy of drum rolls, bass wobbles and synth jitters, it's turbo-charged right from the start and doesn't let up until the end. It's got "party" stamped all over it.

Review: London's Bill Posters fuses elements of breaks, electro and dubstep on this latest single, led by the squelch and strings of "Hold On" - a tune that flits between extreme wobble and softer, more trippy build-ups. "Lands End" is a more full-on assault that'll please fans of gnarly dubstep, while Aquasky's version of "Hold On" is even more abrasive - with distorted bass dropping in all manner of time signatures over huge punchy drums. Crissy Criss provides a furious D&B/dubstep mash-up to round off this seizure-inducing single.
