Review: Prepare yourself for an epic adventure into contemporary bass music in this exuberant and expansive EP from Birdy Nam Nam on Skrillex's very own label, the inimitable OWSLA. Kicking off the ten-track EP is the original mix of "Jaded Future" which is all pitched up, twisted vocals, murmuring b-line and heavy, almost purple wow like synths. Needless to say, Foreign Beggars shake things up with some raw aggression and streetwise lyricism, whilst Pelican Fly adds an altogether different flavour to the proceedings. "Going In" blends pounding stabs and ominous vocals, which Skrillex himself transforms into a party piece in his "Going Hard" and "Going Down" remixes. Then we have the glorious "Cadillac Dreams" which gets remixed by Culprate and Soufien 3000.
