Review: Taking off straight away with distorted bass and electro stylings straight from your favourite retro-futuristic deep-space nightmare, this slice of hyperactive neurofunk badassery comes to us from Hamburg courtesy of BadBoy Zoniy and Subtractor's collaboration project Brazed. Bringing the techno-tinged pressure from the centre of neuro's comfort zone, this brave release packs some serious punches. Lead track "Analyzing" sprawls over heavy rolling rhythms, chopping and mashing throughout, keeping it fresh. "Disruption" is more unsettling, with jazzy, intricate percussion that quickly caves in to some serious bass pressure. Not for the faint of heart, Brazed are that exact combination of fun and deadly that can get people into trouble.
