Review: Hey kid! Can you play 'air violin'? You better had, as young Belgium barnstormer Brownz has got some beefy, beefy strings that add serious drama to all three cuts on this EP. For someone with only a handful of releases to his name, he's honed a distinctive sound that peaks into the ambient depths of producers like DJG (or Photek in his latest flavour) but with a more psychedelic Starkey twang, and grittier sneer akin to Thelem or Biome. It's a winning combination throughout with the highlight being the sinister melodic subversions on "The Watcher".
