Review: An enormous house moment from UK veteran D Ramirez and Aussie new-jack Dirty South, who join forces for the gonzoid, proggy riffage of "Shield". Effortlessly structured to build and drop seamlessly, their original is a big room monster, while D Ramirez's B Movie mix concentrates much more on a spooked-out jacking vibe, as does Portuguese favourite Mastiksoul, who dips the tempo down a few notches for a genius slice of warped, night-time house fun. Base Cartel and Per Qx both also drop a very excellent mix each - both making great use of the original's winding and addictive riff.
