Review: The Tru Funk label is a consistently strong destination for funky mash-ups and breaks-heavy bootlegs, and they've outdone themselves this time on this latest volume of their "Party Breaks". Some highlights include Naughty By Nature getting layered over a silky disco/hip hop hybrid beat on "Clap Your Hands", while '70s Scottish funk stars The Average White Band get their tight sound rejigged by Jayl Funk on "Honk The Funk".

Review: Manmade label owners CMC & Silenta head up this four-headed release of digital breaks and future funk with the punchy "Rock Da Riddem", while DJ Kid Stretch keeps the vibe going on the punk-funk of "Horny", which uses canny samples from Juice's "Catch A Groove". German trio Funkanomics go straight fro the jugular with the fast and frantic cut 'n' bass flow of "On The Floor" while Mr Fudge rides a classic breakbeat rhythm on "Boot All Night".

Review: Released on Warriorz Records, "Give U Much More" is funky, disco breaks from Greek producer, DJ Kid Stretch. Merging funk, disco, soul, house and breaks this is an epic, booty shaking mover. The "70th Floor" remix is a great disco, house remix of the track that really does take you that high. Give it up!!

Review: Greece's Kid Stretch has great B-boy credentials as a former DMC champ, and more recently as a producer of raw and funky breaks tunes. "Slow Down" mixes live brass, popping bass, wah guitars and a huge soulful vocal, while "Shiny Bootz" uses acapella cuts from a certain Kanye number over a retro-soul loop, embellished with modern production and nice chunky kicks. Rory Hoy also joins the party with a sample-filled mix of "Slow Down" that feeds more juice into the bottom-end and adds some driving sine-synths to a rollercoaster of a remix.
