Review:
Summon the robot chorus - Phil Weeks is back. This time out, the Parisian deep house veteran has teamed up with fellow Robsoul artiste Dan Ghenacia for a three-track dancefloor assault. Opener "Deeper" sounds like the sort of deep house cut a bunch of service droids would make aboard the Starship Enterprise - all C3PO bleeps, clanking percussion and cybernetic chords. "First Step" sees the same droids recruit R2D2 to play bass on an intergalactic four-four funk-jam, while "No Way Can You Sleep" sees the droids make way for characters from early Japanese computer games. All, of course, are dancing their pixels off to some smashing bleep-house. In summary: metallic.
