Review: Releases from Ram are coming fast and furious at the moment. Since their landmark Ram 100 album just a couple of months back, we've had no less than five more singles from Andy C's seminal label. This, the fifth, from DC Breaks is just as strong as the rest. "Creeper" pairs a winding bassline with fidgety breaks and a vocal calling "the creeper!" intermittently for maximum dancefloor destruction. It's accompaniment "Horror" is another filthy jump up gem, featuring thumping drum kicks and spaced out SFX, it falls into a tear out anthem designed to cause a ruckus. Ram is on fire right now. Miss this at your peril!

Review: Having brought us some smashers in the past, recent Ram signing DC Breaks drops a superb 4-track EP on Andy C's Ram Records. "Firez" gets the party started with its uplifting synth builds, tripping melodies and warm, fuzzy bass. "Era", on the other hand, resets the tone with pumping bass, snapping snares, humming mid range and plenty of dancefloor power. "Move Closer" introduces vocal talent Belle Humble with a ripple of Sub Focus style synth stutters and "Shaken" rounds things off with furious, pounding drums and sci-fi SFX. Brilliant from start to finish, this is an essential for any discerning DJ or D&B fan out there.

Review: Following a string of high profile remixes including Jay-Z & Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind" and Tinie Tempha's "Pass Out", fast rising D&B duo DC Breaks make their impressive debut EP on Liverpool's Viper Recordings. This is rowdy, tear-up drum and bass spread over six tracks that brings tough breaks and the occasional hint of soul and funk to the table.

Review: Exclusive Ram signing DC Breaks follow up their 2009 smash hit "Pickett Line" on sub-label Frequency with another hands-in-the-air anthem featuring lush, soaring vocals from Rox. DC Breaks fans may remember her from the duo's superb remix of "My Baby Left Me" a year or so ago. Catering for the Annie Mac market this time, they blend rolling percussion with sonorous, melodic strings and finish it with a glossy polish. "Take That", up next, kicks off with unnerving notes, sci-fi synth swoops and sweeping strings, before dropping into classic Ram tear out, complete with rowdy bassline, growling vocal sample and soaring synths aplenty. Massive.
