Review: Welcome to the sexy 80s where the phones are big, and so are the synths. Whirlwind Florida poplet Debbie caused minor commotions in the discotheques with three fun, no frills freestyle tracks; "When I Hear Music" "Look Out Weekend" and "A Party Goin' On". Dated disco with retro charm; there's something about them which has attracted all manner of samplers (perhaps most notably Pitbull). But maybe not quite enough to necessitate three entire tracks. In fact a mega mix is perfect for our Debs; funky, silly and ideal for those moments when your dancefloor is just a bit too hairy.

Review: An absolute stone-cold classic of early '80s electro, a staple in Diplo's arsenal today - not to mention Duke Dumont's ace rerub from a few years back - Debbie Deb's "When I Hear Music" gets a well-deserved re-release, backed by some lesser known gems that will get DJs salivating. "Lookout Weekend" is essentially a Part 2, while the hectic "There's A Party Going On" is another slept-on gem of the era.
