Desos At Juno Download

Review: Denmark doesn't have a particularly good deep house pedigree. That said, Danish producer Desos seems to have some serious skills. "Ghetto Love", his second single on his own Deso Records, is a bit of a late night delight. Built around hypnotic low-end grooves and blessed with the sort of deep, jazzy musicality usually associated with Detroit producers, it's a real soft focus gem - admittedly with a bassline and beats that pack some real punch. Detroit Swindle remixes, adding some ragging acid tweakery and some complimentary new keys. It's good, but the original is still the killer cut.
