Review: Spanish trio Dirty & Acid drop two new energetic gems for the iBreaks label - mixing old-school breakbeat arrangements with a nu-skool sound. The title tune works wonders thanks to a filtered bass loop that threatens to explode at any point, which combined with fierce drums and razor-sharp acapella cuts makes for an airy and uplifting breaks winner. The accompanying "Funkology" is even more fruity and fun - crossing right over into nu-funk territory thanks to some flowing Latin brass licks.
