Review: Combining the considerable force of Machinedrum and Om Unit in a frenzied distilling of the pair's penchant for old-skool breaks and the hyper-rhythms of footwork, Dream Continuum bring a rough and cheeky energy to bear on their first release on Planet Mu. "Giv A Lil Luv" shows no shame in slicing up Lisa Stansfield in a celebratory mash-up of 90s rave stabs, rolling jungle flurries and intricate drum machine work. "Set It" is more overt in its love of Chicago's latest gift to the world, mixing nagging toms with a tasty ragga twist for an absolute dancehall destroyer.
