Having just gone to press with the announcement of forming a new production/dj duo with Markus Schulz "New World Punx", Corsten makes sure there is some solo stuff flying through too. Featuring one of our favorite vocalists in Betsie Larkin, 'Stars' is an instantly captivating treat on both the ears and senses. The extensive remix package kicks of with his own Ferry Fix, in typical style. Moving onto the proggier and musical depth of Magic Islands Roger Shah who brings through the beauty in the vocal. We are loving the cut from Malta's leading pair Tenishia who bring a wicked tech trance flair, no strangers to working with vocals they really rip into this one, mashing tech with prog. Alex O'Rion pushes the tempo and power with his harder hitting taie. Most definitely something for everyone in this package.. Dive on in!

This was a seriously exciting collaboration from back in 2012 with two of the true greats of trance coming together on 'One Thousand Suns'. Oozing with the classic Chicane sound and packed with even more energy from Corsten, it now goes one better with a show stopping vocal from Christian Burns. One of the most sought after vocalists around his warming tone sits wonderfully on the track and takes it to an even bigger audience with both club and radio appeal. It has the spirit of Ibiza running through it and will no doubt be sticking around to be one of the summers big crossovers. Soundprank and Danny Howard both do the business with new remixes, and the original is pretty amazing too.
Ferry Corsten remains one of the busiest men in trance over a decade on from pioneering the sound as it is today. From worldwide DJ travels, to running his Flashover label and a weekly radio show, he still finds time to get behind the studio dials and creat masterpieces like this. The picturesque 'Kyoto' (named after the stunning Japanese city) has a classy nostalgiac edge coming from the bubbling bass line and acid fills, throw in that trademark Feeza shuffling percussion, and a hands in the air breakdown and you have uplifting gold which has been doing the global rounds with the biggest names over the last month.. You need to be on this!
The man like Ferry has had another massive year, touring the world with both DJ sets and his Full On Ferry stadium concept. We also saw the anticipated release of the brilliant 'WKND' album, which this latest single is lifted from. Featuring the increasingly impressive Betsie Larkin, this is typical Ferry Corsten quality with chunky percussion, plenty of drive and some glorious melodies surrounding a catchy and emotive vocal. A punch-packing remix is provided by Dash Berlin on his '4AM' vibe, which throws heavy electro flavours, banging beats, and lots of twisted drops into the fold. Out-and-out dance-floor tune that will do serious damage.
