Review: Almost 25 years after one of the most seminal records in house music was created, Frankie Knuckles and Jamie Principle, joined by Eric Kupper, revisit "Your Love" in style on this new release on Nocturnal Groove. Giving DJs a helping hand by adding a long beat-only intro, that much-copied opening arpeggio slowly reveals itself and is joined by a new, replayed bassline and updated pads. The new vocals sound just as magnificent as you'd hope too, making this a very worthwhile revisit and a fresh overhaul of one of the cornerstones of dance music.

Review: With a reputation that's unimpeachable, Frankie Knuckles is hardly likely to disappoint - especially with long-time collaborator Jamie Principle on vocal duties as well. On "I'll Take You There", the pair dream up a delicate and tender melody that's rendered with piano, long drawn-out strings and deep pads - not to mention Principle's softly cooing vocals. The Shapeshifters keep the moodiness and shimmering beauty intact despite beefing up the beats, while Dimitri From Paris delivers a straight edit of Knuckles' original designed to work wonders on the floor.
