Review:
Part two of the Evolution EP series kicks off with the superlative and much caned contemporary classic "BTKRSH" by Rockwell. Full of croaking, robotic SFX, surging sci-fi synths and futuristic furore, the glitchy beats, quirky drum programming and sleazy funk-riddled atmospherics make this the EP's stand out track. Elsewhere, The Prototypes up the turbo-charged tech vibes with "Subterrestial", Ici adds some deepness in his remix of Friction & K-Tee and S.P.Y closes the four-tracker with a Total Science style roller, aptly named "Pressure Drop". Brilliant from beginning to end.
