Review: Bristol dubstep/UKF producer Gemmy makes an impressive stand on Roska's Kicks and Snares label with this fresh EP, containing the winding neon buzz of "Lakota", the tropical dub of "Badman" and the minimal house spank of the wicked "We Watch The Sun Rise". Huge American electro rocker AC Slater turns in a less subtle but very effective breaks-styled rerub of "Lakota" too.

The Dome - (4:32) 140 BPM

Review: Gemmy isn't the most prolific out of the Bristol lot but whenever he releases something it's imperative that you listen. Just take the heads-down tribal intricacies of "Warrior"; a deeply percussive roller, it's got instant groove attraction before the psychedelic-flavoured top line comes and in whisks you to another planet. "The Dome" has an equally addictive feel; igniting with a stripped back arrangement, it almost hints at trap-vibes before the bass and old mutate rave stabs barge their way into the mix. Complex but never straying from the dancefloor, this is Gemmy at his finest.
