Review: Firstly, props on such a unique release title. The idea of prating angels conjures up almost as many trippy, whimsical sensations as the music itself. "Heart Skipped A Beat" takes a dubstep reference or two and immerses them into a sea of shimmering minor-key washes. Deep, hypnotic and utterly alluring, it's Gespleu at his most fractured and dreamy. "No Prating Angels", meanwhile, takes deep house and throws it in a vat of slo-mo cement. Chugging and rugged with just the right amount of poignancy and sonic sadness, it's for the wooziest of floors or the cosiest of headphone moments.
