Review: If the key to making a great split EP is to ensure that every track stands out in its own right, then Room With A View have hit the jackpot with their latest all-star effort. There's no fluff or filler, just a quartet of pleasingly playable deep house groovers. Dave Aju kicks off proceedings with the thumping but spacious "Love Tap", a swinging shuffler that benefits greatly from some cute top-end percussion touches. Nowakowski's "They Get Up" is intense and off-key while remaining suitably deep, while Iron Galaxy's darting "Refining Fire" recalls the acid-laden "intelligent techno" of times gone by. Best of all, though, is Taron Trekka's "NemDa", a hip-hop-meets-deep house chugger with jazzy keys for days.

Attention Seeker by Iron Galaxy on Audio Culture Label Cue Track
Attention Seeker - (7:51)
from $1.49
Played by: Greymatter, Lesale
Review: Following sturdy releases with the likes of Presk and Tessela, Audio Culture make a more decisive move into the realms of house music with this bumpy jam from Iron Galaxy; a production moniker with little to no reference points. "Attention Seeker" hits upon a hooky lead synth that bounces and warps around the garage shuffle of the beat while an aqueous pad cools off those heated elements for a fully balanced listening experience. It's functional where it counts, but the heart and soul of the track ensures it'll strike deeper than a one-dimensional rhythm track.
