Review: With sparse, percussion-heavy productions, it can be hard to infuse a sense of supple grooviness, but that's exactly what Itmar Sagi has achieved with "Kubba". The lead track is little more than drums and effects, but the beat programming is loose enough to guarantee genuine shuffle to the beats. The same can be said about the musically more adventurous "Left Side", which adds hypnotic tech-house riffs to another loose-limbed groove. The skittering, old skool electro influenced "HPF" continues the there, building a formidable rhythm that never the less contains that all-important swing.
