Review: Silk Royal have had a solid run of late, both on the compilation and singles front. The key factor in this success is their consistent ability to discover and showcase exciting new talent, and the man behind all that Jacob Henry steps into the driving seat for 'Hopeful Romantic. Having recently mixed and compiled 'Royal Showcase 2' along with Tom Fall, he is prooving himself to be one to watch. The original here is a stunning progressive moment with a rolling groove and some wonderful melody lines and piano rolls with clever vocals flickered throughout. Johan Vilborg turns in a dynamic mix with extra energy and thump, while in contrast Schodt heads down a chilled out experimental breaks route completing ell rounded package!

Review: DJing, production, and lets face it.. dance music in general has always been about excitement and inspiration. Back in the 'good ol days' this was mostly built from DJ mixes, with the likes of Carl Cox and Paul Oakenfold paving the way. Silk Royal label boss Jacob Henry and the hotly tipped Tom Fall break the mold for the second volume from their label featuring the likes of Shingo Nakamura, Matt Lange, Soundprank, and Sundriver and journeying from melancholic prog right through to spine tingling uplifting. Whether in the car, on the ipod, at an after-party, or to simply to catch up to what's going to be hot.. This is a real treat!

A great way to discover some golden gems which you may overlook otherwise.
