Review:
Hungarian producer Jay Lumen (real name Csaba Lumnitzer), who had released on label such as 100% Pure, Ajunadeep and Great Stuff among many others, makes his debut on Tronic with a combustible two tracker. Both "Whatever You Want" and title track "Babel" are imbued with the producer's idiosyncratic style, all bouncy drums, clever vocal snippets and an underlying sense of groove.

Review:
Oh yes!! This is absolutely rocking from the man like Jay Lumen. If your into techno fuelled beats, that you can't stand still too.. this is the one for you. The instantly infectious groove of 'He Said' hooks you within seconds and keeps you firmly locked in for the full seven minutes. On the B-side is an equally as large tech workout 'Carpe Diem'. It really dosnt matter what style set your playing, from house to prog to trance.. tracks like these will never fail to grab attention and pick up the atmosphere. Press play, turn it up, and check out your foot instantly tapping. Massive release from a seriously hot producer.. Get on it!!

Review:
Wherein Lumen deftly furthers the Great Stuff party sound, but doesn't forsake his own musical identity in the process. The title track is centred on a walking bassline and rasping, hissing percussion, but it's the small details that make the difference here, like the insistent vocal snippets, stops, starts and deadly effective breakdowns. "Not Jazzy" is more stripped back, but Lumen doesn't make the mistake of denuding the funk and its swinging groove sounds all the more notable for the squealing sax stabs that populate it. Finally, Lumen's "Get Wet" sees Lumen return with more rolling, sax stab-tinged party house.
