Review: A huge new release on Riddim Fruit and an all-Bristol affair as John Hendicott and Rackabeat & Bar-Low share this single, offering up two new breaks smashers each. Hendicott's "Babylon Shall Fall" goes for an intense, psych-funk vibe thanks to some excellent samples and maxed-out bass, while "Make 'Em Bounce" aims itself straight at the floor and uses classic drum samples and neon-coated synth stabs. Rackabeat & Bar-Low come in on an amped-up 2-step tip with the dubby "Version" but stick to a fist-pumping breaks sound with the cut 'n' paste thrill of "Get Down".
