Review: Does anyone actually have a Trendy Mullet these days? Hairstyles may have moved on since the label of the same name first appeared in the late noughties, but the imprint continues to impress. This Kamo remix package features a particularly strong rework from Tom Ellis, who turns "Shoot Your Shot" into a typically atmospheric, organic deep house groover full of vintage synths and rubbery, lo-fi electric bass. What really makes the mix so appetizing is Ellis's knack of giving each element breathing space. Elsewhere, label regulars EZLV provide two slick and shiny remixes, whilst Halls Of Classic offers up an icy fusion of deep house and Scandinavian nu-disco on his version of "Set The Routine".
