Review:
Danish electro-soul dude Kasper Bjorke highlights one of the many moments from his recent album Fool. A collaboration with Laid 'Ride The White Horse' Back, it's a slinky, lolloping groove that weaves a tight psychedelic picture as wispy guitar licks twang over an endlessly mutating acid groove while the vocals purr deep in the background of the mix. With three remixes, there's likely to be something to please everyone. Adana Twins get floaty on the synths and bring the vocals to the foreground. The Still Going mix is a heavier, more peaktime focussed blend. Tambien completes the set with a much deeper take that comes complete with a mournful horn and gradual but groove climax.

Review:
There's already been some killer remix fanfare to support the release of Fool, the fourth studio LP from Kasper Bjorke, with the likes of Axel Boman, Rebolledo and Till Von Sein adding their own production nuances to "Lose Yourself To Jenny" the master Dane's collaboration with White Horse vocalist Jacob Bellens. "Deep Is The Breath" is another album track that features Bellens, and gets tweaked by Permanent Vacation, Pillow Talk and Hannulelauri with excellent results. Benjamin Frohlich and Tom Bioly are more highly regarded for overseeing the Permanent Vacation label as opposed to their own production prowess, which is a shame because their effort is a highlight here, expertly building into a twisting mid 120 acid number with far too much ease.
