Review: Danish/German production duo Cool Million have a thing for classic disco and boogie. Their breezy take on the classic soul sound of the late 1970s and early 1980s has so far seen them collaborate with legendary vocalists Mel'isa Morgan and Leroy Burgess. Here they join forces with veteran British soul singer Kenny Thomas, who enjoyed a successful career on Cooltempo in the early 90s. He provides some excellent vocals on "Without Your Love", a track that bristles with disco strings, walking bass and squidgy electrofunk squiggles. It's delightfully authentic and should appeal to both disco heads and soulful house DJs alike. Speaking of soulful house, a tasteful club remix ("Roba's Oldskool Slide") is also included.
