Review: With little or no information about the producer or release, it's hard to give this summery two-tracker context. That said, it certainly delivers on the title's promise, offering two piping hot slices of Latino house for outdoor parties and sweltering basements. Both "Pina Latina" and "Piana Man" have echoes of some of Masters At Work's more Puerto Rico-inspired efforts, or the delicious Latin Balearic house of early A Man Called Adam. Both also offer a pleasing blend of old skool house riffery, layered South American percussion and Balearic spirit - something which most straight-up deep or tech house lacks.
