Review: Funk Ethics and Lucid Directions team up for a high profile release on Boka, with a cool remix from Von D to back it up. The original weaves various soft, wispy chopped up vocals with gentle, clicking beats and simmering b-line for the duration. Sweeping atmospherics provide respite from the main tune and a midway breakdown switches up the pattern with a more lucid moment. The aforementioned Von D remix is a punchier, dubstep sashaying alternative, with thudding b-line and gritty subs, offering more for the bass heads than the original.

Review: Funk Ethics and Lucid Directions team up for their Give EP, which is split between two original mixes and two new remixes from Von D and Mr Bird. The original "Give" builds layers gradually upon one another. Clicking beats set the framework for the track, with chopped up vocals and swirling SFX creating a disorientating atmosphere, whilst "Together" is all lush, slo-mo rhythms, shuffling breaks and gentle, tinkling chimes. Von D's remix of "Give" is a more severe dubstep rendition with stern snares and terse kicks, and Mr Bird's is a psychedelic twist up with accentuated synths and futuristic atmospherics.
