Review:
Following on from his awesome 'Dragon Man' album, Belgium's leading electronic artist returns with a truly spectacular EP. Lead track 'Faint Hope' is a real moment of beauty for Bailey, very laid back and with 'end of night' tune stamped all over it, it is something excitingly fresh from the superstar talent. 'Sa Trinxa' and 'Bom Bang!' are more down the line of his typical sound, while completely the hefty package is a rocking new Dave Angel remix of 'Rubber Band'. Quality EP not to be missed!!

Review:
The Belgian techno powerhouse returns with a killer peak time anthem. Night Attack is less direct than Bailey's 'party' approach, but there are some similarities. In particular, the intense, insistent filtering at its centre will have the requisite effect on peak-time floors. This time however, it's aligned to a jacking, jerky groove that has more in common with Detroit techno than the bludgeoning attack of late 90s looping. Sian also provides excellent interpretations: the Irish producer's "Calpol" and "Prescription" remixes pit hissing percussion with acidic undercurrents and screeching riffs that push the arrangements into epic white noise breakdowns.

Review:
Bedrock have fired off from all cylinders to launch into 2012, and here drop a killer new EP from the ever consistent Marco Bailey. It's another dose of outside the box progressive and tech house across four tracks, following on from his acclaimed Dragon Man album. The lead track 'Lotus' is the most floor focused of the lot, driven by a techno groove and flickering melodies sparsely splashed. 'K4West' is all about the old school vibes of the main riff, while our pick of the pack is the pacier 'Oriental Disco', which will rock it in a spectrum of sets from progressive warm-up to peak-time techno.. Check this out!!

Review:
Belgian producer Marco Bailey is associated with the harder end of techno, but he has always been a versatile artist. In particular, Bailey's 2004 album, Rudeboy, on his MB Electronics label showed that he was at ease with Warp-style electronics as he was making storming techno. While Tepito is not as diverse, it does show that Bailey puts a lot of thought into his tracks. Ostensibly a big room minimal workout, the use of doubled up Plastikman-style percussive ticks and sheets of driving Berghain-style percussion sets it apart from the glut of textbook tracks. Let's hope Bailey's adventurous approach isn't lost on new producers who want to emulate him.

Review:
We all know by now that John Digweeds Bedrock bring the heat to the floor, and over the past year they have been at their very best. This latest release is a real gem with two of our favourite forward thinking producers coming together. Belgian techno don Marco Bailey hot on the heels of his 'High Volume' album, locks horns with fellow countryman Filterheadz for two wicked tech-meets-prog smashers. First up is the dark and twisted 'Mansion' with a throbbing bottom end and eerie fills, while 'Avenue' in perfect contrast is lighter and funkier with a relentless techno rhythm and the Filterheadz trademark tribal vibes flashing through. This is a partnership that most definitely works, more of the same please!
