Review:
High Contrast continue to hold their own in the top tier after many years, largely down to their knack of finding and developing fresh talent. All of which is proven on this latest single from Germanys' Michael Jay Parker. With previous singles 'Steam' and 'Rampage' setting the tone, he now comes into his own here with two tracks packed full of fire. 'Blue' is big ballsy stuff, with a growling bottom end and razor sharp beats that will lift the energy levels sky-high. 'Drop Out' on the flip is equally as powerful, albeit with a slightly softer attack and uplifting melodies. Two absolute belters from this promising talent.

Review:
High Contrast has reigned supreme in the techier climbs of trance for many years, having catapulted countless producers to stardom. The key to their longevity is their ability to find and nurture new talent, which is once again proven with fast rising German Michael Jay Parker. With releases on Flashover, and Garuda, and tracks like 'Rampage' and 'Monostep' getting plays all over he is back with a blinder of an EP. 'Ipanema' is an energetic and futuristic trancer with an inviting uplifting lead and flawless production. On the flip he goes techier and more driving with (the aptly titled) 'Bangin'.. Both deserving of peak-time spins.

Review:
High Contrast NuBreed label, doing what it says on the tin. With instant props and radio plays from the likes of Ferry Corsten, this is sure to be the turning point in German producer Michael Jay Parkers career. Two killer tracks flying straight into peaktime spots they are sure to appeal to the tech trance heads and more melodic fans alike. 'Electric Avenue' is a expertly crafted piece of music with a hook that wont escape your head for days. However, our pick is 'Rampage' on the flip for its in your face break and brasher floor-rocking synth lead.
