Review: Maybe the title if this two-tracker is meant to be ironical. You see, the touchy-feely deep house contained within sounds like it was inspired not by sweaty nights rushing on the dancefloor, but endless evenings slaving over a Mac with several ounces of fragrant skunk. Michael McLardy's smooth, hypnotic opener "House Fly" is a case in point; despite the addition of some neat vocal samples and extra live percussion, it's still a toasty head-nodder. McLardy's "Reflection" follows a similar template, throwing in some cheery electric piano for a more summery vibe. Dudley Strangeways two contributions are a little more upbeat, whilst still retaining a stoned ear for melody (see "Sometimes Sideways") and lazy midtempo strut ("If You Will")
