Review: It's a pity Mickey B and Carlton D chose a title that brings back the nightmarish spectre of cheap, supermarket-stocked "Chill Out" compilations from the early 2000s, because as an album Totally Chilled is actually very good indeed. As warming and relaxing as a moist Ibizan sea breeze, the mood is hazy and sun-kissed but never resorts to cheesy cliche. There are plenty of snaking sax lines, but these are offset by baggy grooves that vary from laid-back bruk to soft-focus deep house, via groovy nu-disco and West Coast jazz.
