Review:
If you're after an all-star deep house hoedown with a pleasingly sunny bent, you could do worse than check out this collaborative EP from Aussie-based twosome Shades of Gray and San Francisco veteran Miguel Migs. "Let Me" offers a luscious combination of the three producers' styles, delivering a warm, atmospheric deep house groover complete with breathless vocal stabs and cascading keys. Migs alternative "Salty Dub" goes deeper still, delivering a robust late night alternative full of nagging hooks and fuzzy chords. The EP's final two cuts, "Create A Mood" and "Down Underground", pepper their silky grooves with thunderous basslines, minor key chords and tactile riffs. In a word: solid.

Review:
In something of a surprise combination, Miguel Migs spreads his wings to join forces with ragga legend Capleton, only for Mad Professor to bust the party wide open with two versions. The first sees old MP in surprisingly restrained mode as he merely tenderises the music that sits around Capleton's deeply conscious intonations. The dub however provides the genuine Mad Professor action, as a gargantuan amount of delay and reverb starts getting thrown down where once there was a linear track. For dub lovers everywhere this is a highly recommended slice of modern takes on the classic dub sound. Be sure to check the digital-only bonus mixes from Petalpusher, Rob Garza and Rob Paine too!

Review:
Bumper remix package here from Om, with a slew of classy interpretations of Miguel Migs' hook up with vocalist Evelyn Champagne King on "Everybody". Mr Migs turns in his own 'deep salted' dub version which strips the original of its languid riffage and toughens up the groove. Berlin via Boston duo Soul Clap turn in their own impressive tweak in which a percussive intro slowly ascends into a late night house throb. Burning chords abound on the Hardsoul vocal mix, while Nav Izahi goes down the tech house route. Something for every house jock here!

Review:
Miguel Migs' atmospheric deep house/disco collaboration with legendary vocalist Evelyn 'Champagne' King gets a second airing, this time with a slew of brand new remixes to tickle your tastebuds. Four our money, there are three remixes in this package which are worthy of particular attention. For starters, there's Hardsoul's breathless US garage style rub, which propels the languid original towards peaktime banger status. Then there's Migs' own Disco-Tech Dub, which twists his cosy original into decidedly sweaty new shapes. Finally, check Kid Who's rabble-rouding Italo Dub, a dark, druggy and grungy rework that just screams 'basement disco'.

Review:
Whopping remix package here for "Close Your Eyes", Miguel Migs' delectable hook-up with Meshell Ndegeocello, which appeared on the producer's recent long player for Om. The original is a smoky, sultry deep house delight, and it opens proceedings here - appropriately enough - with no less than 10 new versions in tow. There are some big names on show from across the board, too - Deetron, Salva and Osunlade to name just three - but it's DFA-affiliated producer Woolfy who comes through with the most imaginative revision, turning the original into a twinkling, chiming cut that is nothing less than bewitching. Not far behind is the Salva version, which reminds us of the MyMy collabs with Emika crossed with new school UK beats.

Review:
California producer Miguel Migs drops a package of supreme funky and soulful house bombs on this single - a collaboration with vocalist Sonny J Mason. The original of "Burnin' Up" is funky enough - combining Jamiroquai-style brass, smooth guitars and simple but effective house beats. Migs himself lays out a useful dub on the single, while Dario D'Attis remixes the song completely - turning it into a vital deep house adventure that fuses the vocals with some lingering string notes to heart-stopping effect. British duo Inland Knights also go deep on their dub mix, adding layers of Rhodes piano, while Fabio Tosti does a wonderful job on the drums - making the tom-tom's bounce off every beat of the vocal, making them a match made in heaven. Smart, soulful and very funky - these mixes are all a real treat.
