Review: A huge huge tune, and a classic of deep vocal house, Mark "MK" Kinchen's "Burning" from 1991 still sounds as fresh and vibrant today. Defected have gleefully revisited the track on this new release - giving free reign to James Talk & Ridney as well as Round Table Knights to reset the track for 2011. Talk & Ridney keep the slightly warped vibraphone parts in place, as well as that incredible vocal, whilst upping the bpm's a little and adding a driving, one-note bassline. Round Table Knights structure teh drop all around the vocals, which usher in an enormous build into a tight chop-up of the original.
