Review: Not all vintage tunes have stood the test of time, but Montero's 2004-released Brazilia EP certainly has. Mixing the upbeat melodies and atmospherics of progressive house with far funkier beats and a touch of tech-house shuffle, "Brazilia" is as summery and sun-blushed as they come. The EP's original bonus track, "Destination", also stands up, delivering what sounds like a toughened-up noughties tribute to electric piano-laden Italian house of old - all wide-eyed atmospheres and mile-wide grins. The package is completed by two worthy acapellas, of which the more tribal "Wet Acappella" is the pick.
