Review: From Russian 2-step and speed garage powerhouse label Bass Machine comes this new two-sided release from Multi Dubz - featuring two unique mixes of the belting "That's Right". Whilst "Mix 1" plays a heavy '90s garage groove - complete with unstoppable hats and a wonked out and thick bassline - "Mix 2" comes in with a turbo strapped to the bonnet. Faster and with more of a bassline influence, it's a heavy rave diamond that's nicely in debt to the golden age of UK hardcore.

Review: Big, filthy and raw sounds here on the Bass Machine label, primed for chunky sound systems - but then what else would you expect!? Lifting the accapella from a 1987 Chicago house classic (Ralph Roasario's "You Used To Hold Me"), Multi Dubz lay down a beefy 4/4 kick augmented by some cavernous bass echoes and slashing hats. Do check the Hollow mix too for an altogether more stripped back, linear take. In a word, epic.
