Review: Another week, another quality release from Above & Beyond's Anjunabeat camp, and this latest comes from regular fixture, London's very own Oliver Smith. Flirting between the main label and its Deep counterpart, Oliver is one of the most dynamic producers in progressive trance and house, and 'New Dawn' is the perfect reflection of this. Sharp beats, a rolling electro bassline and a lovely array of building synths and flickering melodies that instant stick in the head as well as raising a smile. Both uplifting and energetic but with a housey/progressive backbone. The remix comes from Hungary's Sunny Lax, who keeps the golden essence while added a little more main room power. We are all about the Original though, as featured on Anjunabeats Volume.9, it is this weeks essential... and possibly the months!
