Placid At Juno Download

Review: A new name on the block, Placid provides the next installment from DJ Hype + Pascal's Playaz label and boy, what a release this is. "Particles" falls into the drop after a dramatic build with Netsky-esque synths, pumping drums, warm rumbling bass and an almost trance-like euphoria. This is feel-good dancefloor D&B at its best. Accompanying this is the more low-slung, menacing sounds of "Invasion" with its grizzled bass, tearing mid-range and rattling breaks.
