Review: Trance-infused dubstep goodness here from Point Blank, kicking off with the title track "Ray Of Light", which features vocals courtesy of Sofia, whose sugar-coated, soaring lyrics are juxtaposed with crashing drums and grouchy beats. It's a similar story in "No Respect" which brings Red Eyes into the team for another high octane bass fest, whilst "Pain" sharpens up the synths for a deadly attack of the senses. "Bom The Bass" sees Point Black blend more movie sample snippets with chopped up beats and trancey synths, before "Scream" sees the return of Sofia, heralding the end of the EP.

Review: Two Hamburg DJs, Denito and Oliver West, who have already made a splash in their native Germany make a huge impression with "Walking On Air" - an epic, euphoric vocal house stormer that combines Laidback Luke/Tiesto-style pads with faultless arrangements around the fist-punching vocals. Fellow Hamburg dweller and mainroom don Matty Manck gets deep and lowdown on his tech-house rerub that keeps you on the edge of your seat with a series of subtle builds that run throughout.
