Review: Polar Snares is actually a guy from London called Dave Hall who is 'driven by his deep-rooted love for bassy music and tales of battered cod'. He also makes crisp, icy productions made for big soundsystems. "The Potion" begins with trancey IDM influenced synths before given way to chunky breakbeats, epic swooshes and bleeps left, right and centre. "Bounce Me" is an almost beatless bleep-fest with multi-layered interwoven female vocals creating an ethereal atmosphere. A unique release from a unique talent.
