Review: Having recently made a lot of noise with his fiery collaboration with Majiika, "Avoiding The Issue", UK basshead Rob Sparx returns with two new nocturnal beats on Fent Plates. "Broke" is a dubby mix of detuned vocals, heavy hats and subtle bass textures that make for a warm yet menacing dubstepper, while "Try To Remember" is a pleasing counterpoint - full of bright top-end synths and strings as well as a delicate vocal from Dee Ellington sitting on top of an itchy funk-step kit.
