Review: With Valentines Day just around the corner, Editorial changes tack and takes a step into the world of loved-up, slo-mo groovery. It's a smart move. They've got some great up-and-coming producers involved, with Matthew Kyle's pal Joseph Terruel and Aussie moustache man Rocco Raimundo both offering deliciously deep, spine-tingling rubs. The latter's epic, filter-heavy "Looking For You" is arguably one of the best things he's done to date - a sinewy, string-laden disco slow dance that should impress all but the most miserable of disco purists. Heion's "Run" and DJ Steef's "I Can Win" are gorgeous, too, offering loopy, bass-heavy grooves with just the right amount of lip-smacking charm.

Review: The first House of Disco 12", released in the summer, set out the label's stall as a home for superior atmospheric, touchy-feely house with more than a dash of disco. This second full-length, featuring tracks from various fast-rising disco/house producers, raises the bar further. There's much to enjoy, from the comfy soul cut-ups and rock solid grooves of Matthew Kyle's "Toni" and the classic deep house blues of Luminodisco's "Too Night" to the E'd-up end of night goodness of The Groovers' "All Night". Best of all, though, is Rocco Raimundo's "Give Me Your Love", a teasing, tantalizing close dance with Luther Vandross and the girl of your dreams.

Review: Bristolian disco Grinches Bedmo Disco call on the talents of Rocco Raimundo; if his marvellous moniker doesn't tip you off as to where this EP is heading, the Italian flag and crumb catcher that adorn the artwork surely will. "Steamy Summer Sonnet" is all heavily filtered synth hits riding above a glorious arpeggiated bassline; killer vocal too! You'll find more frenetic disco-funk on "Turn Me On", while the soaring strings and almost French touch loopy filter fest that is "Ridin High" stands out as our pick of a very impressive bunch.
