Review: The return of a genuine heavyweight. True Tiger, established over eight years ago, have been responsible for releasing exceedingly early cuts from current day luminaries Wretch 32, Riz MC and Stenchman. Catching up after a lull in their release schedule, Around The World Volume 4 is a four-track attack of serious peaktime nature. The TT collective cause a devastating intro with "Eyeball VIP". Aimed directly at the jugular, it's not to be treated lightly. Neither, for that matter, is Blue Bear's "Count To 10". A searing, twisting bass since rises and flexes with utter menace, it's essentially the soundtrack to your worst nightmare - and your best dancefloor. Sukh Knight follows with a slightly deeper "Prisoner". Robust and rebooted with rusted robot charm, it's the epitome of a 'heads down' moment. Scandalous United complete the set with a track that comprises Spanish guitars, eerie eastern chants AND a killer bassline, it sums up True Tiger's title fight status perfectly.
