Review: Black Hole Recordings sub-label Song Bird is on a real roll at the moment, and this new single from Polish star Sebastian Weikum once again impresses. Leading on from big support releases on Ferry Corstens Flashover 'Adem' sits on the chunkier and up tempo side of progressive, with crisp beats and a zappy synth line powering it through. For us, it's the 'Club' mix which really shines, with a broken up groove and stabby effect on the lead, it seems to get proceedings much more movement and is certain to have similar effect when unleash to a packed floor.

Review: With past releases on Enhanced, Black Hole, and Ferry Corsetns Flashover, Polish producer Sebastian Weikum has some great releases under his belt. For his latest, he returns to the ever impressive Colorize with a tasty two track EP. There is a cool tribal chant theme across both these tracks, which help to raise them above the parapet. Title track 'Oxygen' showcases all what Sebastian is about, deep and melodic progressive but with just the right drive to get the floor rocking. 'Escape' heads down a trancier route, and is further built on by new talent Hazem Beltagui, adding a piano line and further teasing with the vocals.. Check it out!
